This week, Zion's Tanzania travelers traveled for some 24 hours and arrived in Tanzania. Here's their planned itinerary.
- Monday, October 13: drive to Chicago, fly from O'Hare to Amsterdam
- Tuesday, October 14: fly from Amsterdam to Kilimanjaro International Airport, Tanzania; stay the night at Lutheran Uhuru Hotel and Conference Center, Moshi, Tanzania
- Wednesday, October 15: visit Pastor Fue’s family in Mwanga, visit the Empower Tanzania offices in Same, arrive in Kirangare
- Thursday, October 16: in and around Kirangare, visit Shukurani (a new cow keeper) in Mpare and visit Mpare Water Project
- Friday, October 17: visit Timothy (a new cow keeper), visit Idaru preaching point and see new church building to be inaugurated on October 25, visit Milk Store
- Saturday, October 18: meet Kirangare children, including students at the Day Care, Pare Traditional Food Festival Exhibition (prepared by Kirangare Lutheran Women), leave Kirangare
- Sunday, October 19: participate in the 50th Pare Diocese Anniversary Ceremony
