Kingdom Caucus Energizes and Clarifies

Last Sunday, nearly 50 Zion people—a wonderful cross-section of this congregation—gathered to participate in the Kingdom Caucus. We continued the conversation begun during the Easter season listening campaign. Together we discussed and persuaded and voted, deciding in the end to focus the nine themes into these three areas of priority:

1. Excite and Engage Young People & Foster Intergenerational Relationships
2. Support Zion People Through Life’s Challenges & Heal Wounds from Zion’s Past (may be renamed: “Caring for the Body”)
3. Make Zion as Inviting as We are Welcoming & Energize Worship and Music

Work in these areas will continue in September and October, starting where the Kingdom Caucus left off.  So if you missed the caucus, don’t worry. You may have missed the chance to connect and be energized by the Kingdom Caucus. But Zion people will gather again to plan and take action around these priorities!
