Zion's Food Pantry Received $4,600 from Birdies for Charity

Thank you for directing food pantry gifts through Birdies for Charity! At a special ceremony Thursday, October 10, pantry coordinator, Kris Tucker, received a check for $4,627--or $4,285 in donations and $342 in Birdies bonus. This represents almost 15% of the pantry's $32,000 2024 budget.

One out of every $5 you invest in Zion goes to serve Zion's neighbors. This is down from $1 out of every $3, now that Pastor Janine left Zion's staff, even though all of Zion's outreach ministries go on.

If you plan to give a special gift to the food pantry in 2025, consider doing that through Birdies for Charity, and bump up the pantry's Birdies bonus!
