When you give money to the church, you have less money. That's just math. But in Christ, less can become more. Not more money, but more healing and deeper faith.
Entitlement and resentment follow the world's advice: "Get all you can. Can what you get. Then sit on your can." That road leads to death, not life.
The cures are gratitude and generosity: trusting God enough to open our hands, both to give and to receive.

The easiest ways to include Zion in an estate plan are:
- Name Zion as a beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), or life insurance policy
- Name Zion as the payable-on-death (POD) or transfer-on-death (TOD) beneficiary of a bank or investment account
- Include Zion as a beneficiary of your will or trust

Harriet Ebeling will give an offering to Zion forever.
She designated Zion as a beneficiary of her will. In 2022, after she died at 99 years old, Zion received $100,000 from her estate. Under the terms of the gift, Zion cannot spend the principal, only its earnings, which are to be received as general offering. This generous gift is one form of what's called a "perpetual offering."
You too can give Zion a perpetual offering!
A gift of any size can provide a perpetual offering to God through Zion. Or, take your annual giving to Zion and multiply it by 25. For example, if you give $2,000 a year, a $50,000 planned gift would continue that offering after you're gone. A planned gift of this size is designed to keep pace with inflation.
