For the sixth time, Zion will send travelers on a lifechanging visit to Kirangare Lutheran Parish in northeastern Tanzania. On Sunday, October 12, Zion will bless and send seven travelers with our love.
- Connor Essary
- Wendy Essary
- Allison Nichols
- Amos Olson-Smith
- Susannah Olson-Smith
- Pastor Clark Olson-Smith
- Pastor Sara Olson-Smith
They will depart on Monday, October 13 and return Thursday, October 23. They will carry your letters and your love. In preparation, please:
- pray for the travelers and for the companionship, especially asking God if you are called to visit Kirangare in the next trip
- write your letter(s) to Kirangare Parish people, addressing it generically, "Dear brother or sister in Christ," if you don't have a specific pen pal; bring them on or before October 12
- come to Zion's Trivia Night to benefit Kirangare's Zion Daycare construction on September 27 or make a Buy-A-Brick gift today; since Zion people have fully funded the bricks needed, additional funds will go toward other materials and labor
This trip is unique among the other five visits to Tanzania, because Zion travelers will participate in Pare Diocese 50th anniversary celebrations in Same Town. Expect to learn about the trip throughout the trip on Zion’s website and on the Sundays immediately after the travelers return: October 26 and November 2.
