You are warmly welcomed to Kirangare and invited to consider hosting Kirangare Parish travelers in your home. Yesterday we discussed the following plans for 2025.

In June, Zion will bring leaders from Kirangare Parish to Iowa. The visit will be some 10 to 12 days long. The cost will be no more than $2,000 per person. We hope to bring at least four. They must secure passports and visas, which should take a few months. It would be appropriate for Companionship Committee leaders to come: the chair, Gaspar John, and secretary, Simon Simon. It would be best to include travelers from all four preaching points and both men and women. Pastor Fue encourages Zion to make a formal invitation and specify this make up of the traveler group. Pastor Fue and Gaspar disagree about whether the pastor should be given priority over the committee leaders. Gaspar says yes, Pastor Fue, no.

(Pastor Fue has already traveled to Iowa. He stayed at Camp EWALU and visited several Southeastern Iowa Synod congratulations, including Zion. Ben Dau, an EWALU counselor at the time, invited Pastor Fue to Zion. He attended Pastor David Lapka's ordination.)

Also, Kirangare Parish invites Zion travelers to come to Tanzania in October to participate in celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Pare Diocese. The Jubilee will be October 26, Reformation Day. Bishop Mjema very much hopes Bishop Amy Current will come too.

So consider: is God calling you to Tanzania? Or to host Tanzanian visitors?
